I just readu about the shock of Wilma passing away and know that Wilma is a person that loved people and celebrated them well, She especially loved my mother Marcia who was with Wilma in Peninsula Players through early 2008. My hear to is out to Gary and the peninsula for such a great loss.

My aunt Wilma Vardsveen was a past Peninsula-Player and she passed away on Wednesday January 27, 2010. Please let members who knew her know. There will be a Memorial Service sometime next week.

I am sorry to tell you that there are no performances for Fruitcakes this weekend. Last weekend was the final performances. For future reference, we are handicap accessible – we have a chair lift to assist those who need help getting up the stairs. We are working on grants to be able to install a lift that will accomodate wheel chairs, etc.

As for reserved seats, we do not normally reserve seat but it may be possible.

Good Morning – I want to bring 4-6 people to Fruitcakes on Saturday December 19th. When I saw your name 2nd Story Play house, I became concerned as I am bring seniors that do not do stairs. So are you handicapped accessible? And can I reserve seats? Thank you! I could not find a phone number on this site.

Auditions for Mame will be January 5th and 6th, at 7pm at the 2nd Story Playhouse. We need 20+ individuals for singing and none singing roles.

I just wanted you to know that my girlfriend and I came up on Saturday from Portland to see the play Barefoot in the Park, and it was AWESOME!!! We’ve seen many plays over the years, but this one was put together so well…we had such a great time. The cast did such an awesome job. We got to meet them, and the director…Maggie Rose. Her passion for live theatre is something else.

Kudos to you for supporting local theatre.

I went to audition and they were TRULY OPEN. I LOVE to see that. Keefer and I attended and were excited to see the turn out. I wanted to audition, but the description of characters appeared to be for women MUCH younger than me. I am praying that maybe in the next musical I can show the theatre world my stage voice.
Glad the Peninsula Players are here and growing stronger all the time.
